Turkey Terrific is a complete human quality food. Perfect for adult and senior dogs. This gentle recipe provides a grain free, low processed meal making it ideal for sensitive dogs or those who are prone to carry a little extra weight.

Why Dehydration

Dehydration naturally preserves the food, removing the moisture whilst retaining the nutrients and goodness found in the fresh and raw ingredients we use in our recipes. Our meats are lightly heated just enough to remove any harmful pathogens, our fresh fruit and vegetables are carefully prepared, before we slowly dehydrate all of our ingredients.

Just Add Warm Water

This unique process gives Pure all of the advantages of both wet & dry food. Adding water allows the food to expand in the bowl rather than the stomach making it easier to chew and helping to prevent bloating, whilst reducing the risk of dehydration. At the same time like a good quality dry food Pure is super easy to store and has a great shelf life.

Ingredients

Turkey (20%)
The fresh turkey and liver packed into a portion of Pure food is equivalent to a dry or wet food containing around 60% fresh meat. Turkey is a brilliant source of vitamin B6 and B12, niacin, selenium and zinc.

Beef liver (10%)
Whilst being a nutrient rich source of protein, fat and vitamin A, liver is also a good source of copper, iron, niacin, phosphorus and zinc. It provides many B vitamins, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and essential amino acids your dog needs to keep healthy.

Parsnip
A great source of Vitamin C, parsnip also contains many poly-acetylene anti-oxidants such as falcarinol, falcarindiol, panaxydiol, and methyl-falcarindiol, as well as being an excellent source of dietary fibre.

Potato
Potato is an exceptionally healthy low calorie, high fibre food that offers a fantastic source of vitamin B6, vitamin C, copper, potassium and manganese.

Apple
Apples are a surprisingly good source of fibre which is great for digestion. They also contain phyto-nutrients such as quercetin and catechin which are strong antioxidants.

Carrot
Carrots contain more carotene than can be found in any other vegetable. Carotene is converted into vitamin A which provides important antioxidant benefits and phytonutrients.

Cabbage
Boasting richness in antioxidants, glucosinolates, Vitamin A & D.

Green beans
In addition to conventional antioxidant nutrients like vitamin C and beta-carotene, green beans contain important amounts of the antioxidant mineral manganese.

Minerals

Chicken (30%)

Chicken is an excellent source of the B vitamin niacin and contains selenium which promotes antioxidant defence.

Egg (5%)

As well as being a highly digestible source of protein as amino acids, eggs are a brilliant source of choline which is particularly important for proper brain function and health.

Storage
If kept in a cool, dry and dark place Pure food will last up to 12 months. Once water is added the food should be treated as fresh, refrigerated and used within 48 hours.

Adding Extras
All complete Pure foods are balanced meals and are fine to feed as a standalone diet. However, we at Fitopets are convinced that the food is more complete and supportive to health if you add an organic multi supplement called DailySure rich in phytonutrients, and friendly bacteria Probiotic Miracle, because they lack in all pet food diets (Barf included).

2) We only choose brands that have high ethic values, which invest a lot in research and in sourcing the purest ingredients. In very few cases we allow, for example, a flowing agent called magnesium stearate which is present in many supplements, and is considered generally safe, when it’s not. Magnesium stearate is frequently made with low quality vegetable oils (it’s cheaper) which can be loaded with heavy metals. When we do rarely accept such product in our Fitopets Selection, it is because at this moment, we cannot find worldwide a better alternative. Better for us doesn’t mean only more natural, but it also has to produce results.

When we sell a product with magnesium stearate, we ask the manufacturer the heavy metal lab analysis of the vegetable oils they use to produce magnesium stearate. If it is ok, we accept the product – this is how far we go to ensure safety to our clients.

4) we obviously cannot check personally the ingredients and the production processes of all facilities worldwide, but instead we do choose brands with GMP (Good Manufacturing Policy) certification or HACCP certification, which guarantees maximum safety and quality. Where GMP certification is not necessary, we request the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).

5) we always verify how does the manufacturer extract the ingredient, what is the technological process he uses, because it can downgrade the ingredient or considerably enhance it. The final result is the rate of cellular absorption of the ingredient. Everything depends on whether your cells can access and use the supplements you take, and at what percentage. If your absorption rate is low, you are literally throwing away your money through the window. We passionately focus on offering products with the highest possible absorption rate at a cellular level.

6) we constantly verify the market in search of new products which could be superior than the ones we already sell. When we do, we frequently switch to the new product, letting go of the previous one, even if we were selling it well.
